On twelve evenings, Tim Raue will “perform”, as he calls it, for a small number of guests when he will prepare a 6-course menu at the island restaurant in Soneva, for eight people around his chef’s table — in this case — large granite counter.

Chef Raue will be hosting twelve dinner events at the resorts in the Maldives at Soneva Fushi and at Soneva Jani. The dinners, running in January 2022 are part of Soneva’s celebration of visiting experts and designed to offer unique guest experiences.

His crafted menus are a blend of Japanese product perfection, Thai aromas, and Chinese culinary philosophy for nourishment.

Even before his Chef’s Table debut on Netflix, chef Raue has been an inspiring powerhouse in his kitchen and beyond. Now Tim Raue is one of Germany’s best-known chefs, and for a good reason, because the Berlin star-chef has redefined German top gastronomy and made a name for himself internationally. Tim Raue’s restaurant has not only been awarded two Michelin stars, but it has also occupied a five-year place on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list since 2016 – currently ranked 31st in 2021.

Chef & entrepreneur, Tim Raue currently has four restaurants: the “Restaurant Tim Raue” in Berlin, which has been awarded two Michelin stars, and three brasseries “Collette” around Germany.   Tim Raue has also established a firm place for himself on German television on the hit VOX show Kitchen Impossible. In the past 15 years, Raue has also published four books – including his autobiography and the cookbook “My Way“.

Raue says: “With the TIM RAUE restaurant, I have fulfilled a lifelong dream – but my other projects mean culinary freedom for me and the opportunity to fully live out my many ideas with the help of my chefs.”
