Hosted by Raymond Blanc
Four days with one of Britain’s most beloved chefs, including a two-part masterclass in the kitchen.
Join Raymond Blanc OBE, the celebrated chef-patron of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, for an intimate 4-day culinary experience at Alladale Wilderness Reserve, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
Sample Raymond’s menus, forage the reserve for its wild larder and engage with him in the kitchen through a two-part masterclass, a shared experience built around the love of food, nature and conviviality.
The menu draws on the best of seasonal Highland produce, wild venison and fresh trout from the rivers and lochs, cooked with the generosity and precision that have defined a lifetime at the top of gastronomy.
"Cooking is about generosity, about giving, about love. A great meal is a great act of friendship."
Raymond Blanc OBE is one of the most celebrated chefs in Britain, the chef-patron of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire, which has held two Michelin stars for four decades, an almost unmatched record.
Entirely self-taught, he has mentored a generation of great chefs and built his reputation on a profound respect for the ingredient, the garden and the seasons, championing organic and biodynamic growing long before it was fashionable.
A passionate communicator and author, and a familiar face on British television, Raymond brings warmth, curiosity and joy to the table, qualities at the heart of this Highland experience.

This experience is hosted in the shoulder seasons, when Alladale is at its most beautiful. The chart shows the average daytime high by month, with the best months to go marked.
Longer days and wildflowers over the glens, the last spring snow lingering on the peaks.
Turning colours across the reserve and crisp, clear air, the rut and the red deer on the hills.
There are occasions when you can experience all four seasons in one day. That is all part of the fun.
The garden is my greatest teacher. Everything I know about cooking, I learned first from growing.
From the wild larder of the reserve to the table by the fire, this is an immersion in that philosophy, in one of Britain’s last great wildernesses.
Set against rugged hills at Scotland’s most northerly ancient Caledonian pine forest, the Alladale Lodge is the ultimate private getaway. This beautiful Victorian manor, refurbished by Laura Ashley, is comfortable and spacious, taken in exclusive use for your group.
