Sailing passion by tradition: on board the Sea Cloud, the sails are still traditionally set by hand – a real piece of work. It is always a spectacular moment when the sailors climb the rigging, loosen the heavy cloth and then powerfully tension the lines on deck. Nothing happens at the push of a button: almost a full hour passes before all sails catch the wind.
