Welcome to Son Bunyola Sir Richard Branson’s favourite retreat, located on the picturesque Spanish island of Mallorca. The vast estate situated on the island’s northwest coast consists of three distinctive villas Sa Terra Rotja, Sa Punta de S’Aguila, and Son Balagueret, that are set amidst 810 acres of magnificent natural surroundings filled with vines, citrus fruit trees, almonds, and hundreds of olive trees.
Each luxurious four and five-bedroom villa has its own unique style and character, guaranteeing privacy and relaxation at it’s finest.

Coastal Walks
Settled within the beautiful Mallorcan mountainous landscape, the area is perfect for hiking expeditions. Take a walk around the estate which is 3km × 5km in size, or head straight down to the coast walk which starts from a pebble beach. It's a 40 minute walk to the beach from Son
Balagueret and from both Sa Terra Rotja it takes 20 minutes.

During a holiday on a beautiful Spanish island, it would be wrong not to set sail on the tranquil Mediterranean waters. Whether you would like to head out for a full day and stop of at a local restaurant for lunch, or stick to a half day with on-board dining, there are lots of private boat options to choose from.

The Son Bunyola is a UNESCO World Heritage Site surrounded by groves of olive and almond trees alongside winding grape vines unique to the Island. Due to its position located on a mountain range parallel to the northwest coastline, centuries of agricultural activity have transformed the landscape with terraces and inter-connected waterways. This spectacular setting is definitely one of the most prized aspects of the estate and is something the team is happy to protect and enhance. Local rocky beaches are found along the northwest coast but, if you want to find sandy beaches, visit the southeast coast of the Island.
Locally Sourced & Season Island Dining
Eating and taking advantage of the fresh produce around the island is definitely one of the most important aspects of staying at Son Bunyola. The local products such as fish, lamb, meats, cheeses, fresh bread, olives and olive oil farmed on Son Bunyola’s own estate have a huge influence on the seasonal menus.
Son Bunyola chefs and hostess will prepare a selection of cold dishes for breakfast before leaving each evening and you can help yourself in the morning, so there’s definitely no need to rush. Lunch is served buffet style and three-course dinners can be tailor made according to your preferences, local Mallorcan and Mediterranean style dishes can also be served. a visit to some of the local restaurant offerings can be arranged.
