French maison polish, laid across a Maldivian lagoon.

Randheli spreads across its own lagoon in the Noonu atoll, forty minutes by seaplane north of Malé: a maison of over-water and island villas designed with the restraint LVMH reserves for its best addresses.

The lagoon is the palette, glass at dawn, neon by noon, and the villas are staged to frame nothing but it. A private-island villa sits apart for those who want the atoll to themselves.

Villas run from over-water decks with pools on the lagoon to garden villas among the palms, all in the maison’s pale, exact style. The private-island villa adds a spa, a gym and a stretch of reef of its own.

Four restaurants, and French pastry in the sun.

The maison runs four kitchens, from Mediterranean-Maldivian by the lagoon to a Japanese-Peruvian table over the water, with a French bakery for the mornings that people quietly plan around.

Private dining lands on your deck or a sandbank; your designer arranges the wine dinners and the reef picnics.

03 Experiences

A house reef, and the wide atoll beyond.

The lagoon is for snorkelling straight off the deck; the atoll beyond is for diving with mantas and whale sharks, dolphin cruises and sandbank picnics reached only by boat.

Non-divers sail, paddle and fish; your designer times the manta season and the empty-sandbank runs.

The Guerlain spa, on its own island.

The spa occupies a private island of its own, reached by boat: Guerlain rituals, over-water treatment rooms and a watsu pool, all with the lagoon underneath.

06 Setting

The Maldives, at the design end.

The northern atolls are the quiet ones, further from Malé, emptier of resorts, richer in reef. Randheli takes a whole lagoon of that and hands it a French sensibility.

The result is the Maldives without the cliché: the same impossible water, held to a maison’s standard.

Cheval Blanc Randheli is priced by the villa, by night and by season, with the dry season at a premium. The figures shown are indicative. Once we check live availability we confirm an exact, all-in quote for your dates, and nothing is booked and no payment taken until you approve it in writing. A deposit then secures your dates, with the balance due before arrival. The full booking terms, cancellation policy and any security deposit are set out in your confirmation.
