Celebrating 10 Years of Connection, Discovery & Wonder: A Love Letter to Life

There are moments when life takes your breath away, a sunset that feels like a kiss, laughter shared around crackling fires, or the quiet knowing that you are exactly where you are meant to be in this moment right now. That’s what Satopia was born to create. From the wide-open skies of New Zealand and the ancient sands of Egypt, ten years ago, we began with a belief that travel can move humanity forward. That’s still a belief that we still hold today.

Over the past decade, we’ve transformed that vision into cinematic journeys that connect people through beauty, purpose, and presence. From the artisans of Argentina to the cultural guardians of Kenya, every experience has been shaped by authenticity, storytelling, and a genuine desire to contribute to others.

True luxury, to us, is time — the space to reflect, connect, and feel alive.

As Satopia celebrates its 10th anniversary (and we’re celebrating in style at a private fazenda in Brazil this December if you want to join us!), we honour the people and places who have reminded us what it means to be human, and we look ahead to a new decade of meaningful connection. We look forward to leading more extraordinary Satopia experiences next year, an invitation to fall in love with life all over again, and… again, no matter what.

ELKEMIST 2026 | 31 August – 4 September

This summer, we hosted the second edition of Elkemist™, our annual philanthropic gathering uniting foundations, changemakers, and visionaries committed to creating a more just and connected world. Held at Passalacqua, Lake Como, the 2025 edition explored the theme of Justice through five remarkable days of dialogue, dining, and shared purpose. Elkemist™ continues to evolve as a platform rooted in learning, giving, and understanding philanthropy as an act of human connection.

Elkemist™ Provence 2026 | Join the Waiting List

In 2026, Elkemist™ will take place in Provence, continuing this journey of meaningful exchange and celebration. Next year’s edition will spotlight extraordinary individuals leading foundations and initiatives that are creating tangible impact on the ground — people whose work reminds us that generosity and purpose remain powerful forces for change.

Alongside this gathering, we will also launch the Satopia Impact Fund™, with 100% of proceeds directed to foundations we’ve personally encountered and wish to champion. This initiative represents our next step in ensuring that the impact of Elkemist™ continues long after the event itself.

Because giving, too, is a way of falling in love with life.

The Elkemist™ 2026 dates have now been announced, and the waiting list is officially open. Booking will open first to those on the waiting list, beginning with Patron Experiences, followed by Villa and Daily Experiences.

Ways to Participate:

• The Patron Experience — full programme access, private villa accommodation, all transfers included, and foundation sponsorship.

• The Villa Experience — full programme access, private villa for 4–5 guests, all transfers included.

• The Daily Experience — full daily access without accommodation or transfers.

This New Year’s Eve, Satopia invites you to a six-night gathering in the hills of the Rio de Janeiro state. Set within a private fazenda that embodies the spirit of Brazil, vibrant, soulful, and beautifully alive.

Designed with intention and shaped by a deep appreciation for beauty, the property embodies a world where nature, craftsmanship, and character exist in quiet balance. Every room feels considered — a collection of thoughtful objects, meaningful art, and tactile materials that invite a sense of connection and ease.

For one week, 14 guests will come together to share long dinners prepared by our private chef, swim beneath the tropical stars, and welcome the year ahead with intention and celebration. The experience blends simplicity and sophistication — a working farm with a gym, pool, bar, and full service team, yet what makes it unforgettable is the sense of connection that unfolds between those who gather here.

Every Satopia experience is singular, created once, lived deeply, and never repeated in quite the same way. One final room remains for two guests who wish to join this intimate celebration to close the year with connection and begin the next surrounded by those who live with open hearts and curious minds.

A Travel Journey Like You Have Never Seen Before Full of Taste and Romance

FEBRUARY 2026 | Last Room

An experience that will surprise you with its secluded simplicity. 

Mornings in Garzón begin with soft light spilling across the garden at Casa Anna, the air warm with the scent of eucalyptus and woodsmoke. You step outside and hear nothing but birdsong and the low hum of the countryside waking up.

By midday, you’re standing beside Francis Mallmann himself, the fire crackling at your feet as he teaches the quiet art of patience, how flavour deepens when you allow the flames to speak first. The world slows. You feel the heat on your hands, the gentle breeze off the Atlantic, the rhythm of something older than technique.

Lunches beneath the Ombú trees, where the shadows dance across the table, and along a stretch of wild coastline where Chiringuito Mallmann appears like a mirage in the ocean air, with the sweet scent of grilled peaches, rosé, and of course, deep laughter. Evenings drift into firelit dinners at his farm, where the countryside turns gold and then indigo, and stories are shared long after the plates are cleared.

We invite you to following in the footsteps of Francis Mallmann and his life in Uruguay — the landscapes that inspire him, the people he trusts, the places he returns to for quiet and clarity. It’s Garzón as he experiences it, not curated for guests, but revealed as it truly is. It’s a place that we fell in love with immediately.

Culinary creativity has always been at Satopia’s heart, because nothing brings people together quite like a shared table. In 2026, we’re launching new hosted journeys with world-renowned chefs, each crafting experiences designed to delight all senses in extraordinary destinations.

If there’s a chef who inspires you, we would love to know who! We’re always seeking out new collaborations that celebrate flavour, culture, and connection.

HARVEST DINNER | Château La Coste

Thank you to everyone who joined us in France for the end-of-summer harvest dinner by Francis Mallmann at Château La Coste. The Faena opening in NYC was also a beautiful success, and if you’re in Manhattan, we highly recommend a night at La Boca.

Meanwhile, Ahmed was back in Argentina this month, hosting Satopia guests on la Isla with Francis Mallmann. The snow was falling, the fire is always glowing, and the family has grown – there was a new addition to la isla, Canella, who has already welcomed 3 puppies on the island, congratulations to Chiquito the proud dog dad.

All departures were fully booked this year, possibly because we promised guests could take a puppy home with them. April and October 2026 departures are now open (excluding puppies) and there is one remaining room to join the Uruguay experience by Francis Mallmann in February 2026. Please note that rates have increased for future departures to Uruguay. This is the last room at the 2025 rates.
