Conservation

One important organisation working on this conservation cause is the Red Sea Environmental Centre, an organisation promoting coral reef research, education and conservation at the Red Sea, Egypt.

The centre runs a field-station for marine science and marine conservation at the southeast coast of the Sinai in Dahab, surrounded by its diverse underwater marine habitats.

The centre offers courses and seminars in marine biology, in addition to snorkeling or diving experiences to discover the beauty of the Red Sea through Eco-Diving and scientific diving skills and training in their field-station. There are also opportunities for conservation volunteering and internships suitable for divers and snorkelers.
