Our profound journey unfolds in the state of Uttar Pradesh, in the North of India, with meticulously curated experience designed to captivate the imagination of our guests. Our adventure begins in Delhi, a sprawling megalopolis that is thrillingly colourful and chaotic. Here, we’ll delve into its rich tapestry of flavours, uncovering the history of its monuments and diversity of regional spices.

The journey continues to Lucknow, a city considered one of the gastronomical capitals of India. Known for its rich cultural heritage, reflected in its exquisite Awadhi cuisine, characterised by aromatic masalas and slow cooking techniques. Dubbed by some as the official birthplace of Kebab, there are plenty of tasty treats here waiting to tantalise your taste buds.

Next, we’ll fly to Agra, where the Taj Mahal awaits. Beloved Agra was the capital of the Mughal Empire in the 16th-17th centuries and is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and the ancient city of Fatehpur Sikri. Another living legacy left from the Mughal times is Mughlai cuisine, a delicacy waiting to be savoured along with the local traditions behind this artful culinary identity.

Our adventure culminates in Aligarh, where we’ll have the opportunity to relive the iconic courtyard dinner from Chef’s Table at Asma’s family home, where she filmed her Netflix episode of the show. Finally, we’ll wrap up the journey with a special farewell back in Delhi for the last evening before departure.

She serves as the UN World Food Programme’s Chef Advocate, holds a distinguished presence on the Mayor of London’s Business Advisory Board, and holds an Honorary Fellowship at Queen’s College, Oxford University. Asma holds a PhD in British Constitutional Law from King’s College London, where she is also a Fellow, and an Honorary Doctorate from SOAS University.
